Fancy a week full of glitz and glamour, but without the expensive price tag?  This deal to Cannes in the South of France, should tick all the boxes!

 

Cannes, Nice, Monaco, Antibes, San Tropez – each one as glamorous as the next. The South of France just oozes sophistication at every level! Easily accessible with the excellent train service, you can travel from town to town within minutes. Take the opportunity to discover this magnificent coastline, you won’t be disappointed. Cannes hosts the annual film festival and has been a resort of choice for celebrities for many years now. Walk along the the promenade – ‘La Croisette’ and admire the couture shops, the sandy beach and just people watch, there is no place like it!

There is also a quaint old town which is well worth exploring and plenty of interesting sights to see. Don’t be put off by the designer shops, there are also some great boutiques in the side streets where prices are more ‘reasonably’ priced. There is also a large selection of restaurants and bars to cater for us ‘regular’ folk so spending a week here doesn’t have to cost you an arm and a leg.

I found a great deal staying in the Hotel Cannes Gallia which is situated in the heart of Cannes, within walking distance to the centre and the beach. It receives great reviews on tripadvisor and also received a certificate of excellence last year. Fly from Dublin on the 18th of September and enjoy seven nights here for only €519 per person.
