1. Lanzarote: Sold Out
Lanzarote is Ireland’s most popular destination for winter sun holidays. There are so many great resorts, but I love the old town of Puerto del Carmen – having a drink at one of the waterfront cafes as the sun sets over the harbour is a lovely way to end your day. I found a great deal in the popular Bitacora apartments which are located within walking distance to the centre and the beach.

2. Gran Canaria: 4-Star Gloria Palace Hotel & Thalasso Amadores, B&B, 3rd February, €735pp

3. Tenerife: SOLD OUT
The Gran Oasis Resort is one of the most popular hotels in Tenerife. It receives an Excellent rating on TripAdvisor and was a Travellers Choice Award Winner last year. It is located halfway between Los Cristianos and Playa de las Americas, so you have the choice of resorts to visit, and it just 5 minutes away from the beach on the free shuttle bus. Of course all meals and drinks are included in the price, so you may not want to leave…

4. Fuerteventura: 4-Star Correlejo Beach Apartments, 8th February, €365pp
The Corralejo Corralejo, The harbour is just 400 metres away where you can catch the ferry to the neighbouring island of Lanzarote.
There is an outdoor pool, restaurant, snack bar and gym, as well as a games room for billiards and darts.

5. Lanzarote: 4-Star All Inclusive Aequora Lanzarote Suites, 8th February, €804pp
Located just five-minutes walk from the beach, the modern Aequora Lanzarote Suites are one of the most popular hotels in Puerto del Carmen. With five outdoor pools and three restaurants – one of which is an adults-only restaurant, you will be spoilt for choice.
