8. Lisbon: 1st December, 2 Nights, €219pp

Lisbon is one Europe’s top city break destinations, and after my recent visit I now know why! It has a beautiful old town, and pastel-coloured buildings with terracotta rooftops as far as the eye can see.

Lisbon is very easy to navigate too, but if you don’t fancy walking it, there are delightful old trams and tuktuks available to help you explore this great city.

I found a great rate in one of Lisbon’s top rated 4-star hotels, Figueira by The Beautique Hotels. It is located in the heart of the city and is a great choice for a city break in Lisbon. I have lots more options in this post:

9. Prague: 19th November, 3 Nights, €199pp

weekend in Prague

Often compared to Paris in terms of beauty, Prague has architectural masterpieces untouched by war or natural disasters. The medieval Charles Bridge connects the old town to the impressive Prague Castle and is filled with artists selling paintings and caricatures.

I love the fact that Prague is so compact and easy to navigate. Unlike many large European cities you will get to tick the main tourist attractions off your list, and with three nights to enjoy it, you should get a great feel for the city.

I found return flights for €95 and a three-night stay at the 4-Star Adler Hotel is just €104 per person.

Malaga is a super choice for a Winter break. The city is covered two million lights during the month of December and it is one of the most festive cities in Spain.

Despite being the six largest city in Spain, Malaga feels more like a vibrant town. Its colourful streets are a delight to explore and it is packed with history and culture, as well as tasty tapas bars.

Many of the top things to do in Malaga are located close together so you can see most of the highlights in a few days. The centrally located Hotel Brö-Adults Recommended  is just €92 per person for a two-night stay and I have many more hotel recommendations in this post:
