From Dublin to Donegal, Cork to Cavan, I’ve got 10 Spas in Ireland with thermal suites and hot tubs, for the prefect for a winter break.
When I think of great spa experiences I think of thermal suites, steamy hot tubs, bubbling jacuzzis and hot stone massages – all of which suit winter getaways perfectly. Visiting spas in Ireland when it is hot and sunny outside doesn’t have the same appeal, but I can’t think of a better way to beat the January blues than a spa break in Ireland during the cold dark winter months.
I have teamed up to Spas.ie, Ireland’s leading Spa website, to highlight Spas in Ireland for the perfect winter break. Spas.ie offer discounts on spa treatments as well as spa hotel deals, and offer vouchers that can be used in over 80 Spa hotels in Ireland – including the hotels featured below. You can see all of their spa deals in Ireland here.

Guests can avail of the Serail mud chamber, aroma baths, hammam, flotation room, finnish baths, double treatment rooms, as well as various Jacuzzi & water features, indoor pool, heated loungers and an outdoor hot tub. Tempting isn’t it?See more here
2. Sansana Spa at Royal Marine Hotel, Dublin

3. Chill Spa at The Ice House Hotel, Mayo
Funky furnishings and an eclectic design combine to make The Ice Hotel one of Ireland’s coolest hotels – excuse the pun! It has all the feels of a city hotel, yet located in the countryside on the banks of the river Moy.
This year saw the addition of a new outdoor thermal extension, with a raised deck stretching out over the river. The new Wellness Room with a private outdoor hot tub for two, and new outside baths for shared bathing rituals are ideal for couples looking for a spas in Ireland with outdoor areas.
