Propose In Paris With Return Flights For Two From Appleby Jewellers!

The first 200 couples who purchase a diamond engagement ring from Appleby Jewellers during November or December will collect a massive 18,000 Avios! That’s enough to fly you and your loved one to Paris*, London* or Amsterdam*, to celebrate your engagement in style!

When Appleby’s asked me to write this post I found it somewhat ironic. Would you believe I got engaged in Paris with a ring from Appleby’s Jewellers – although we didn’t get free flights back then!

I will never forget shopping for my engagement ring. Clarity, cut and colour was all new to me, I didn’t know what I liked or what suited me. Myself and Cormac wandered around various jewellers in Dublin city centre, talking to staff at front counters and praying no one would see us. When we walked into Appleby, it was a completely different experience. We were immediately brought into a private room and consulted in depth about what I liked, didn’t like and what we could afford. All jewellery is hand made on site in Appleby, so it was pointed out that if I liked a particular design but wanted to change the stone, that was not a problem. In fact every thing was possible, I could have whatever I wanted – obviously within my budget! After spending hours (literally) trying on various rings and learning all about the difference in stones, I finally made my choice.

Appleby still offer this personal and discreet service, it is a fabulous relaxing way to choose your engagement ring.  Appleby don’t pay their staff commission, they are paid to guide and assist you to find your dream ring – so you won’t feel pressurised to purchase.

I loved how my engagement ring sparkled and so many people commented on how bright and good quality the diamond was. Appleby hand select all of their diamonds. In fact each week in Antwerp, a member of the Appleby family selects just one of hundreds of diamonds offered. Appleby, a family owned and managed business, has been designing jewellery for over sixty years. They rightfully boast that every piece of their diamond jewellery sparkles! Appleby’s reputation for excellence and expertise in diamonds is one of the reasons why they have one of the largest and finest collection of engagement rings in Ireland.

As well as receiving the finest quality engagement ring, if you are one of the first 200 couples who buy an engagement ring during November or December, you will also receive 18,000 Avios. This is the equivalent of two return flights to Paris, London or Amsterdam. So why not celebrate your engagement or pop the question in one of these great cities? Although you do need to pay taxes, fees and charges, I love that 20kg checked-in baggage is included in all Avios reward flights.
