Did you know that TUI have added flights to eight more destinations including Cyprus and Turkey this year? I have teamed up with TUI to let you know some of the highlights for Summer holidays with TUI.
TUI have their best ever selection of family holidays with lots more luxury hotels and one of my personal favourites – more 10 and 11 night stays in new destinations. There are more properties added to firm favourites such as Holiday Villages, SplashWorld resorts and Sensatori and there are some new concepts too! Here are my top ten highlights for Summer holidays with TUI.
1.NEW Destination – Paphos in Cyprus
One of Cyprus’ most authentic holiday resorts, Paphos, offers the perfect mix of a traditional town with cobbled stone streets and a modern harbour with lively bars and restaurants. I have no doubt TUI”s exclusive Holiday Village and SplashWorld resorts will be a huge draw for Irish families but couples will love their adult-only Sensimar hotels and the luxurious Sensatori Resort Atlantica Aphrodite Hills too.
2. Lots more 10 and 11 night holidays:
Sometimes a week away is too short. However two weeks can sometimes be too long! I think its great that TUI is offering lots more 10 and 11 night holidays. The 10 night and 11 night holidays to Majorca, Lanzarote and Salou proved so popular this year that TUI decided to add some more destinations for Summer 2019 holidays. I particularly like the option of 10 nights on the Greek Islands of Zakynthos and Rhodes which are exclusively available, direct from Ireland, with TUI!
3. Best ever selection of family holidays
TUI’s wide selection of family resorts are packed full of activities for all the family. There are nine Holiday Villages to choose from for Summer 2019 holidays, each offering clubs for kids of all ages, expert run swimming academies, stage schools and football camps and ’round the clock’ entertainment. There are also eighteen SplashWorld properties with unlimited access to a first-rate waterpark as well as thirteen Family Life by TUI properties, which offer spacious rooms, teen hangouts, baby clubs and ‘Les Mills’ fitness classes. It doesn’t stop there either, TUI also have loads more properties that are family focused, with kids clubs and entertainment on site.
4. Have you heard about TUI BLUE?
Are you looking for an authentic experience when you travel, but still want the security of a package holiday? TUI Blue might just be what you are looking for. TUI have selected four contemporary, premium hotels in Majorca, Algarve and Turkey with an emphasis on local culture and cuisine. Download the BLUE app where you can get face-to-face tips with local guides or book excursions to places beyond the typical tourist traps. If you want to stay fit on holidays, the BLUEfit programme lets you design your own exercise plan too!
5. NEW Destination – Dalaman in Turkey.
Another new destination for Summer 2019 is Turkey’s stunning turquoise coast. Choose the lively resort of Marmaris or picturesque Olu Deniz, famous for the Blue Lagoon. TUI has a wide selection of its exclusive hotel range throughout the turquoise coast including a Holiday Village, TUI Family Life, TUI Sensatori and TUI Blue.
6. Lots more luxury hotels
TUI is best known for offering great value package holidays but this doesn’t mean you have to compromise on style! TUI has a wide selection of luxury hotels and resorts to suit all tastes. TUI have seven all-inclusive Sensatori Resorts with an emphasis on sweeping pools, spas and sophisticated dining, as well as eighteen adult-only Sensimar properties and ninety-two Platinum hotels and apartments, that are hand picked for their outstanding feedback from guests.
7. They are flying direct to Mexico!
TUI have been flying direct to Mexico since 2016 but I think it is always worth another mention! This seven week programme runs from the 3rd of June and offers great value package holidays to luxury all-inclusive hotels. They operate a modern TUI Dreamliner aircraft which has mood lighting and improved cabin pressure, which helps to reduce jet lag. You can even upgrade to premium seats (similar to business class) for €300 return!
8. You can book exit seats, late check-out and private taxi transfers.
I was asked many times if I could book exit seats when I as a travel agent and it was almost impossible to guarantee it! Now if you choose to pay for extra legroom seats with TUI you can enjoy up to a 34-inch seat-pitch from only €40 return for short-haul flights or €50 for mid-haul flights. These are available for purchase for adults and children! You can also select exit-seats for the same price, which are suitable for adults only. TUI also offers a late check-out and interconnecting rooms in selected hotels as well as private airport transfers.
9. There are no hidden extras!
I can’t stress the importance of this enough. Many people book flights and hotels separately but rarely add in the cost of baggage and transfers when comparing prices. When you book a TUI holiday, the total price includes flights, accommodation, transfers and checked baggage. Where most airlines are charging an arm and a leg for checked baggage, TUI are still including it in the cost of your holiday! There is no need to try to squash everything into hand luggage – you can bring those extra pair of shoes! TUI also include return airport transfers too, which can prove costly to arrange independently.
10. Your holiday is secure!
In these days of airline strikes and climate change, booking a package holiday with TUI can give invaluable peace of mind. Once you pay the low booking deposit of €75 per person, your flights, hotel and transfers are confirmed. By booking Summer 2019 holidays with TUI, you have the added security of booking with a bonded and licensed Tour Operator and having a representative available 24/7 in your holiday resort if required.
