Few cities capture the magic of Christmas better than New York. Add Macys, Sephora and Bloomingdales into the mix and you have the perfect Christmas shopping destination! Here are five fabulous breaks for Christmas shopping in New York.
Some people like to do their Christmas shopping early, some love the bargains available over Thanksgiving weekend, while others want to wait until the Christmas tree lights are turned on at Rockefeller Centre. This year they will be illuminated on the 4th of December, so if you really want to see New York covered in Christmas lights, you should plan to go in December.

3. YOTEL New York

This hotel has a bit of magic about it the whole year round, never mind Christmas. YOTEL New York is situated in midtown Manhattan and is within walking distance of 5th Avenue, Times Square and Central Park. This fabulous four star hotel is located in downtown Manhattan’s Financial District. It’s extremely close to Battery Park and also puts you in the perfect location to see the Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Centre. 5. citizenM New York Bowery

If you’re looking for something a little more luxurious, the citizenM New York Bowery should fit the bill perfectly. This boutique accommodation is situated in one of Manhattan’s most stylish neighbourhoods.. The hotel lobby is one of the best I have seen and should make you feel right at home straight away. The rooms are again on the trendy side and the King bed should help you recuperate after a long day of bargain hunting.
New York has so much to offer as a holiday destination all year round.
