We also swam in the Blue Lagoon. Bathing in the steamy waters of the Blue Lagoon with snow all around us was something really special. In fact the whole island looked like a Winter wonderland. I found great value flights with Play Airlines over New Year and a good deal staying in the popular City Centre Hotel in Reykjavik.
I have based this weekend in Iceland on a three-night stay departing 31st December, but if you are looking for a shorter or longer stay, or wish to travel at a different time, simply edit the dates on the links below to suit your requirements.
