Kickstart your Summer with this special offer to Kos in Greece. Fly direct from Dublin airport and spend a week in a four-star hotel, with breakfast included, from just €347!
Looking for a holiday next year that won’t break the bank? This special offer to Kos is hard to beat! Aer Lingus and Ryanair recently announced that they will be flying directly to the Greek Island from Dublin airport next summer, and airfares have never been lower.
There is something to suit everyone in Kos, from relaxing beach resorts on the north coast to buzzing towns on the south coast, housing some of the best bars and nightclubs in Greece.
The capital, Kos Town, boasts Roman ruins and plenty of historical sights, as well as great restaurants and night life. The sophisticated harbour is at the heart of this town, which is a great place to people watch and enjoy some al fresco dining.
We holidayed in the beach resort of Tingaki many years ago and loved its laidback atmosphere and 6km long sandy beach. We enjoyed the best of both worlds as we were able to travel into Kos Town when we fancied a change of scene – it is only 20 minutes taxi ride away. Tingaki is popular with families or couples looking for a relaxing holiday.
Kos is just 40 x 80 kilometres, so regardless of which resort you choose, it is easy to visit most of the highlights. You also also take a day trip to Bodrum in Turkey – it is only 20 minutes by ferry from Kos Town, and costs just €25.
I found great value return flights from Dublin to Kos for just €106 on the 2nd of May, and one of the top rated hotels in Kos, the 4-star Blue Lagoon City Hotel is only €241 per person for a seven-night stay including breakfast.
Located in the heart of the city, it is just 200 metres from the harbour and 750 metres from the beach. It also boasts a swimming pool, snack bar, restaurant, and spa area with gym and indoor pool – it is a great choice for a holiday to Kos this summer.
