The early bird catches the family holiday deal to the Algarve in August! Stay at the highly rated Aquashow Hotel with waterpark on-site!
The Algarve is one of my favourite holiday destinations. I have visited many times, both with and without children. I particularly love the beaches there – there are over 100 of them stretching 150 km of coastline. However, the beaches are only one of a range of factors why you should take advantage of this family holiday deal to the Algarve.

The short flying time and transfer times are very popular with families as are the friendly activities available. The marine theme park Zoomarine, is one of the Algarve’s top attractions, while car lovers will enjoy karting at the Algarve Motorsports Park.
If waterparks are high on your holiday priority list, then a stay at the Aquashow Park Hotel located next to the Aquashow Water Park should suit you. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, 4km from Quarteira and five km from the popular resort of Vilamoura, with a free shuttle bus operating to both.
It offers the usual facilities you would expect from top family hotels in the Algarve – outdoor pool with two mini-slides, games rooms, playground and restaurant, however, without question, it is the free entrance to the water park that is the main feature for your stay here.
Aquashow is not only one of the Algarve’s largest water parks, but it also boasts the largest Water Rollercoaster in Europe and Portugal’s largest wave pool. Little ones are not left out either – the Aquakids section is specifically tailored to smaller children. There is a huge selection of slides, attractions and shows to choose from that will suit everyone in the family.
There are various room types available including family interconnecting rooms. The lowest price are twin rooms with bunk beds for children, these are priced at €2629 for a family of four or €3076 for a family of five, based on a seven night stay from the 17th of August. Prices include breakfast and have a free cancellation policy up to the 30th of July.
Return flights to Faro are available from €135 from Dublin and €146 from Cork and €158 from Shannon with Ryanair on the 17th of August for seven nights. If you don’t want to pay in full for your flights now, you can pay a 50% deposit with Ryanair, and the balance 60 days before departure without penalty.
I have chosen these random dates as the airfares were particularly low, but if these dates don’t suit, simply change the dates via the links below to suit your requirements.
