If you want to stay longer, or if the dates I have chosen don’t suit, simply edit the dates to suit your requirements – there are lots more dates available at the same price.

1. The Ashe Hotel, Tralee, Kerry: B&B €75pp
The modern Ashe Hotel is ideally placed to explore the top attractions along the Ring of Kerry. The speciality gastro bar and restaurant is a favourite with locals, but if you fancy exploring the bars and restaurants in Tralee town, you are just a few minutes walk away.

Five-star luxury in the heart of Belfast for €85 per person. Its modern interiors as well as the chic cocktail bar and restaurant are firm favourites with visitors. This hotel is also pet-friendly too!
3. Dublin: The Grafton Hotel, €130pp

I stayed in the Grafton Hotel just a few weeks ago and loved its central location and art-deco style interiors. The cocktail bar is a must for pre-dinner drinks, and it is offers superb value considering its prime location.
With Grafton Street’s shops on your doorstep, and the top bars and restaurants in Dublin’s social scene just a few minutes walk away, the location couldn’t be better for a night in the capital.
4. Roscommon: Kilronan Castle Hotel & Spa, King Room B&B, €105pp
When you drive through the medieval gates of the 18th century Kilronan Castle Estate & Spa, you are bound to be impressed by its beauty. The 50 acres of gardens, woodlands, and lake also add to its fairytale like appearance.
Originally a royal family home, it has been transformed into a luxurious Irish castle hotel. Expect four poster beds and antique furniture, as well as fine dining and a luxury spa. You will be treated to an award-winning thermal suite, saunas, steam rooms and Rasul, as well as a swimming pool and treatment rooms.
An overnight stay with 8-course tasting menu is also available and can be booked directly on the hotel website.
5. Donegal: The Ballyliffin Lodge & Spa, €60pp
This award-winning 4-star hotel is an ideal choice if you want to escape to the unspoilt Inishowen Peninsula. We explored Inishowen this summer and were blown away by its beauty – it is without a doubt one of Ireland’s hidden gems.

With a swimming pool, spa, and the popular Jacks Bar and Restaurant, it is no surprise that it receives excellent reviews on TripAdvisor from previous guests. We enjoyed lunch here during our visit this year and loved it. Wheelchair accessible rooms are also available at Ballyliffin Lodge Hotel.

6. Offaly: Kinnitty Castle Hotel, Delxue Suite B&B, €120pp
An overnight stay in a medieval castle is always a good idea for a romantic getaway! Located in the Ireland’s hidden heartlands, Kinnitty Castle is easily accessible from all counties, and is a good choice for an overnight escape or a stop over point. There are 650 acres of parkland and forests for you to explore, and its fine dining restaurant and bedrooms with original features, are sure to please.
If you fancy some outdoor adventures, Kinnitty Castle is set on the foot of the Slieve Bloom Mountains, and Birr Castle is a 20-minute drive away.

9. Dublin: Trinity City Hotel, Twin / Double, €110pp

For a central stay in the capital you can’t beat the Trinity City Hotel. Located opposite Trinity College, just minutes from Henry Street, Grafton Street and the DART Station, the location just couldn’t be better.
I stayed here recently and loved its modern decor and relaxed dining options. The heated interior terrace is the perfect choice if you want to enjoy some al fresco cocktails, and the open plan restaurant boasts floor to ceiling windows.
10. Laois: Midlands Park Hotel, €62pp
The Midlands Park Hotel is located in the centre of Portlaoise and has the added benefit of a health and fitness club with a 22 metre pool, treatment rooms and fitness centre. We stayed here recently and loved its modern style and lively bar. Kellys Steakhouse deserves all the hype it gets – just make sure you book it in advance.

The Midlands Park Hotel is ideally located to explore the many attractions in Laois, Kildare and Kilkenny, and shoppers will love its close proximity to Kildare Village, just 20 minutes away.
11. Donegal: Redcastle Hotel, €66pp
The Redcastle Hotel offers superb value to explore this coastal county. I spent a week in Inishowen last summer and loved it. However, with a waterfront location, 9-hole golf course and Thalasso Spa, you may find it difficult to leave.

12. Wexford: Clayton Whites Hotel, B&B, €80pp
Enjoying a town centre location with a reputation for great service and facilities, the Clayton Whites Hotel is one of Wexford’s best known hotels. As well as a 20-metre pool there is a Tranquillity Spa with thermal suite and forty different treatments available.
13. Meath: Johnstown Estate, Deluxe Room, B&B, €85pp
Johnstown Estate is a super choice if you are looking for luxury spa break close to Dublin. Set within 120 acres of stunning parkland, this 1750’s Georgian residence has extensive leisure and spa facilities, golf and horse riding, as well as a choice of dining options.
Johnstown Estate invested 3.6 million in a ‘New Spa’ during lockdown, and it is now the Flagship Destination Spa for Elemis & Gharieni in Ireland. A new Rooftop Experience has been added to the already impressive Thermal Suite.

15. Wicklow: Brooklodge Hotel, B&B, €95pp
BrookLodge is set in its own unique village and is one of Ireland’s most loved hotels. It is famous for its delicious organic food – in fact it won Hotel Restaurant of the Year and Culinary Hotel of the Year, but is also renowned for its Spa and Wellness experiences.
The Wells Spa is an adult-only Spa that offers treatments from organic product ranges such as Voya and Babor. Guests can avail of the Serail mud chamber, aroma baths, hamam, flotation room, finnish bath, as well as various Jacuzzi & water features, indoor pool, heated loungers and an outdoor hot tub.
16. Mayo: The Helm Apartments, Westport, 1-bedroom apartment B&B, €62pp

If you have been following me for a while you will know I fell in love with Mayo’s stunning coastline a few years ago, and the Helm apartments are ideally located to explore it. This price is based on a one-bedroom apartment, but there are larger apartments which are ideal for a friends or group getaway.
Located right in the heart of Westport, The Helm overlooks the harbour and has a restaurant and bar, with complimentary breakfast included in your stay. This is great value for self-catering breaks in Ireland in one of the Wild Atlantic Way’s most vibrant towns.

17. Westmeath: Sheraton Athlone, €65pp
Located in the heart of Athlone, the highly rated Sheraton Hotel ticks all boxes for an overnight escape. It has a 20 metre pool, a luxury spa, and stylish dining options. All guests receive the property’s Platinum Card, which provides discounts on a number of shops in Athlone town centre.
18. Derry: Best Western Plus White Horse Hotel, €55pp
Did you know that Derry is one of the world’s best preserved walled-cities, and is the only remaining completely walled city in Ireland? Derry is brimming with culture and history and is waiting to be explored.
Stay at the 4-star Best Western Plus White Horse Hotel which boasts an award-winning restaurant and leisure centre, and is just 15-minutes drive from the city centre.
Alternatively if you prefer to stay inside the city walls, you can stay at the five-star Bishops Gate Hotel, for just €95 per person.
19. Limerick: Clayton Limerick Hotel, Dinner, B&B, €128pp
The highly-rated Clayton Limerick Hotel boasts Shannon river views, a leisure centre on site, and a choice of dining options – it is no surprise that it is one of the most popular hotels in the city. The brand new International Rugby Experience is due to open shortly, so why not combine a visit while you are there!
I spotted a super offer which includes an overnight stay with breakfast and a four-course dinner from €255 per room, based on 2 sharing.

The Falls Hotel & Spa is ideally situated to explore the Wild Atlantic Way, with the Cliffs of Moher and the lively town of Doolin less than 15 minutes away. You can also help the environment by staying here – the Falls Hotel & Spa is officially a carbon neutral hotel.
