I have published this Girls Night Away offer a few times and received superb feedback, with many people messaging me saying they would love to return. Well now is your chance!

I also had the pleasure of staying in the Clayton Limerick last summer and can see why you all love it so much. The food and service was excellent, and it is superbly located on the River Shannon with Limerick’s top attractions all within walking distance.

I know what you are thinking, this is too good to be true, there must be a catch! There isn’t. The eye-catching Clayton Hotel Limerick is not only visually stunning on the outside, it boasts stylish interiors, modern rooms with superb views of the city, and a leisure centre with swimming pool and gym.

It is situated on the banks of the River Shannon and offers a choice of dining options with gorgeous views. Catch up with your friends over a cocktail, and enjoy a four-course evening meal with spectacular sunset views – all of this is included in the price!

The Grill Bar & Restaurant serves up classic European dishes with a contemporary edge, and the à la carte menu is ideal for a girls night away. The menu offers a variety of dishes to suit all tastes, and all four of us were delighted with our choices.

I love that the hotel’s location also suits those who don’t want to drive. The Clayton Hotel Limerick hotel is located in the heart of the city, just 10 minutes walk from the train station – so your girls night away can start the minute you board the train!

With Limerick’s city centre close by, you can enjoy a ramble through the medieval quarter before dinner. The 3 bridges walk along the Shannon is just 3.6km and is nice way to get a feel for the city. The 13th century King Johns Castle is also located along the route – its good to combine a little culture on a girls night away, right?

If, like me, you enjoyed the Rugby World Cup, then don’t miss a visit to the International Rugby Experience – it is an interactive experience where you can compete with your friends in a number of areas, including place kicking, running, strength and conditioning and handling. We loved our visit and would highly recommend it if you are even remotely interested in the sport.

If you fancy a little more exercise or adventure, why not cycle the newly opened Limerick Greenway. Don’t worry there is no need to to pack a bike or a helmet. Limerick Bike Hire can arrange one for you, as well as collecting you at the hotel, dropping you to the point in the greenway you wish to start, and back to the hotel afterwards – it’s hassle free!

And of course no girls night away would be complete without shopping. Limerick’s Fashion Quarter boasts a myriad of stores from Penneys to Brown Thomas, as well as some beautiful boutiques. Don’t miss the famous Milk Market and Wickham Way markets for some food and souvenirs to bring home.

However, you may not wish to leave the hotel at all. You can choose to relax in the swimming pool, sauna or jacuzzi instead. Isn’t it great to have options? Speaking of which – you don’t have to go with a girlfriend. If you want to bring a loved one instead, you can of course, do that too!

When you finally say goodnight, you will be rewarded with comfy beds in modern rooms offering the best views of the city. And your girls night away doesn’t end there – indulge in the Clayton Hotel Limerick’s carefully crafted Vitality Breakfast the following morning. Choose from a traditional cooked breakfast, a healthy light snack, or a bit of both.

Just to recap – this exclusive offer is available from just €99 per person for three sharing, or from €120 per person based on two sharing on selected dates until the end of April 2024. It is even valid on St Patrick’s Day and during Easter holidays. Note supplements apply for Saturday night.

I suggest you book early though, it’s a very popular offer and sells out fast! This girls night away in Limerick is incredible value for such a highly rated hotel.
