20 Family Hotel Deals in Ireland in August – 2 Night Stays from €255!

From Dublin to Donegal, Cork to Clare, check out these family hotel deals in Ireland this summer, with prices from €255 for two night stays!

With Summer almost over, I have highlighted some last minute family hotel deals in Ireland based on two-night stays on various dates in August. I have four-star hotels as well as some self catering options, so there should be something here to suit all tastes and budgets.

The Beara Peninsula is one of my favourite parts of Ireland and these glamping pods are in the perfect location to explore it. Each pod has a kitchenette, bathroom with shower, and patio and seating area. There is a private beach area on site too and with Killarney, Kenmare and West Cork all within easy reach, the possibilities for day trips are endless.

Set on beautiful grounds and close to Sligo Town centre, the 4-star Clayton Sligo ticks all boxes for a family holiday in Ireland. We stayed here recently and loved its family friendly facilities and spacious family rooms.  The leisure centre has a separate kids pool, and a kids club operates during the summer holidays.

As well as offering six different glamping accommodations, the name, ‘Glamping Under the Stars’ has already got me thinking that I want to stay there.

Located just an hour from Dublin, this award-winning glamping site has bell tents, wood lodges and a shepherd’s hut, all equipped with proper beds, a private decking area and sockets for charging phones.  
 

 

 
The hobbit-style houses sleep up to six and have private bathrooms. Prices for a two-night family stay are €399 on various dates in August.

9. Further Space Glamping Pods, Wexford: €250

Luxury Glamping company Further Space has recently opened in Wexford, following on from their success across Northern Ireland and Scotland. 

Located in Forth Mountain, just a short drive from Wexford Town these glamping pods offer fantastic mountain views close to popular hiking trails.
 

 

 
Each pod can sleep up to four, and comes with a double bed, and bunkbeds for children ( under 15). You will also find an ensuite with shower, mini kitchentte, electricity and USB charging points,  and a private fire pit.

Breakfast and camp fire packs can also be supplied – extra charge. This glamping site is pet-friendly too! I found pods available from €125 per night on the 17th of August,  but many more dates are available.

We had the pleasure of staying at the Midlands Park Hotel in December and loved its family friendly facilities, modern decor and great dining options, particularly Kelly’s Steakhouse. It is located in the centre of Portlaoise and has a health and fitness club with a 22 metre pool, spa and fitness centre.

    • Hi Louise, if you edit the child ages on the links or select four adults, you should be able to get the exact prices. Most the rooms that hold 5 should take 4 adults, like the Inn at Dromoland or Claregalway Hotel – both very good value.
