Full Spa Day for 2 – Aqua Sana at Center Parcs, Longford
I had the pleasure of visiting Aqua Sana Spa during my visit to Center Parcs last year. It is Ireland’s largest stand-alone Spa, and has a wonderful outdoor pool with hot tubs in a forest setting. I loved the Nordic Sauna with floor-to-ceiling windows – it looks out onto the forest and manages to bring the outside in.
There was also a Scandinavian Snug, complete with arctic blankets and a blazing fire. There is an Ice Cave, a Rain Forest Shower, Rain Forest Walk and amazing relaxation rooms. I would have loved to try the waterbeds and the Forest Garden, but unfortunately time was against me.
This full day spa package starts at 9am and ends at 5pm, so you can spend 8 hours of quality time with your Mum. After some arrival refreshments spend the day exploring the 21 spa experiences on offer at Aqua Sana Spa.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at Vitalé Café Bar before checking out a free spa wellness session. These therapist-led sessions focus on self-care, relaxation and overall health and wellbeing. They each take place multiple times a day, so you can find a session to suit you.

Pamper Delight Package With Afternoon Tea – Chill Spa at The Ice House Hotel, Mayo
The outdoor spa sanctuary at Chill Spa is on my own wish list. I can’t wait to spend an hour in the bubbling outdoor hot tub, that overlooks the River Moy. If your Mum prefers to stay indoors, don’t worry, you can catch similar views from the sauna.
After relaxing in the hot tub or sauna, you will be treated to a hot oil back, neck and shoulder massage, followed by a taster refresher facial with head massage.
