August Bank Holiday Deal To Rhodes, 1 Week, Flights, Apartment, Transfers & Baggage, €449!

Check out this amazing deal to Rhodes over the August bank holiday weekend! Enjoy a one week package deal in a highly rated apartment for only €449!

Rhodes probably has more to offer than any of the other Greek islands. Not only is it one of the largest Greek islands, but it has a UNESCO world heritage site as it’s capital. Wandering around the Colossus of Rhodes is like stepping into a fairy tale, but once you step outside the old city walls, you will find a modern town, full of designer shops and trendy waterfront cafés.

The hill top town of Lindos is another ‘must see’. Complete with whitewashed buildings and winding alley ways, it is a photographers dream. There are also quieter resorts like Lardos and Pefkos as well as the lively resort of Faliraki. If all of this isn’t enough, why not try Greek island hopping to some of the neighbouring islands.

The Travel Expert's deal to Rhodes

Boat in water, Kos, The Travel Expert

Looking for a week away this Summer without breaking the bank? Book a Summer holiday in Kos from only €447 in August.

Kos is an island of contrasts. There are quiet sandy beaches on the south coast and beaches full of water sport enthusiasts on the north coast. You will find peaceful low-key resorts as well as buzzing towns, housing some of the best bars and clubs in Greece. Kos town, the capital mixes ancient ruins with a cosmopolitan centre. Night owls will love Bar street which as the name suggests has plenty of bars and clubs that stay open until the small hours.

Nirides Beach Kos

I have chosen the popular resort towns of Stalis and Hersonissos. Both situated 20 – 30 minutes from the airport and both have an abundance of bars, shops and restaurants. Zakynthos, 23rd May, 1 week, Flights & Apartment, €389!

Looking for a nice break away that wont break the bank? Zakynthos or Zante as it is commonly known, is a great choice.

I spent a week there last year and really enjoyed it. There is so much to see and do you will spoilt for choice. A visit to Navagio or shipwreck beach is a must, it is one of the most photographed beaches in the world! A boat trip to see the Loggerhead turtles is also a great day out and appeals to all ages. If you are feeling really adventurous you could take a ferry to some of the neighbouring islands, Kefalonia is one of the favourites for day trippers.

For me though, the beauty lies in just chilling out on one of  Zante’s beaches and enjoying some great Greek food in the local tavernas. There is a great laid back atmosphere on the island and although developed for tourists, it still feels authentic.  For more information on Zakynthos you can read my blog by clicking here.
