Christmas shopping from the comfort of your own home, there is nothing like it! No trouble getting parking, no battling through crowds and no queuing to pay! I am already a big fan of shopping via the AerClub eStore so when I see bonus Avios promotions, I’m in heaven! My kids are lego fanatics so I was thrilled to hear that the online Lego Store are giving 10 Avios for every €1 spent! Not only were the prices cheaper than what I was paying in Smyths, but I got over 1000 Avios when I spent €100 online! I also picked up some books from Eason, they are giving 7 Avios for every €1 spent and to get 4 Avios for every euro spent at Apple – well it doesn’t get much better than that!  The AerClub eStore offers are not limited to Irish online stores, you can also collect bonus Avios with popular fashion stores like Pretty Little Thing and Topshop and beauty store Lookfantastic.

Once you are logged into the AerClub eStore you can click through to your favourite retailers and shop online in the usual way at no extra cost, but your purchases will be tracked, and your Avios account will be topped up with points! It really is that simple – you shop in exactly the same way as you would normally shop online but the online shops will see that you came to their website via the AerClub estore. I am a SuperValu shopper, so I was delighted to learn that they are giving away triple Avios points if you convert your real rewards or money back vouchers before the end of August. Instead of the collecting the usual one Avios for every €1 spent with SuperValu you will now collect 3 Avios points! With the summer almost over, it’s time to start thinking about your winter wardrobe and for families, some back to school supplies. Avios have you covered with some excellent collection offers when you shop online via their Avios eStore. For those who are not familiar with the Avios eStore, this is the quickest and easiest way to collect Avios points in one go, on the items you had already planned to buy! Read my post about how to get flights and upgrades with Avios points. Once you are logged into your Avios account, just shop online like you normally would and your purchases are tracked, so you collect Avios points from your favourite stores. Marks and Spencer is giving eight Avios for every €1 spent instead of the usual four, from the 21st of August until the 10th of September and Eason is giving ten Avios instead of the usual five from the 21st of August until the 21st of September.  You can collect Avios points from lots of other great stores too. Gap are giving nine Avios per €1 and Nike seven Avios per €1. So if your child is looking for new Nike runners before he or she goes back to school, maybe now you can justify the purchase! If you are planning any winter breaks, accommodation website Hotels.com is giving eight Avios per €1 instead of their usual six Avios, until the 20th of August.
