4-Star Montenotte Hotel, Cork: 2 Nights B&B from €125pps

I have heard so many great things about the Montenotte Hotel. It has been recently refurbished and offers stunning views of Cork City. This boutique hotel is one of the most popular places to stay in Cork. With a state-of -the-art leisure centre, an in-house cinema, and this cosy outdoor terrace – you may not want to leave!

4-Star Brehon Hotel & Spa, Killarney: 2 Nights B&B from €125pps

Who doesn’t love Killarney? The National Park, Killarney Lakes, Torc Waterfall, Muckross Abbey – there is so much to see and do here. I brought my Mum to Killarney last year and she loved it. The luxurious Brehon Hotel overlooks Killarney National Park and is Ireland’s best 4-star hotel according to Fáilte Ireland! It is also renowned for its great cuisine and the luxurious Angsana Spa, whose Thai therapists have been extensively trained at The Banyan Tree Academy in Thailand.

4-Star Slieve Russell Hotel, Golf & Country Club, Co. Cavan: 2 Nights B&B from €139pps

The Slieve Russell Hotel has it all – set in 300 acres with lakes, a 20-metre swimming pool and a luxurious spa. However, I included this on my list for another reason. Not only is the Slieve Russell Hotel home to an 18-Hole, PGA National Ireland Championship golf-course, but you will also find a nine-hole par 3 Academy Course, and adventure golf here. For experienced walkers, one of Ireland’s best Instagram locations, the ‘Stairway to Heaven Walk’ on the Cuilcagh Mountain trail, is only a 30-minute drive from the hotel.

5-Star Sheen Falls Lodge, Co. Kerry: 2 Nights B&B from €160pps

One of my favourite hotels in Ireland, Sheen Falls Lodge enjoys an idyllic location overlooking Sheen Waterfalls, as well as being within walking distance to the picturesque town of Kenmare. A Relais & Chateaux Hotel, it boasts fine food and wine and a host of activities including kayaking, paddle-boarding, archery, fishing, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting and falconry. If you prefer to relax, spend some time in the spa or indoor heated pool. Kenmare is ideally situated on the Ring of Kerry and on the Wild Atlantic Way, so a two-night break is an ideal choice.
