University of Galway holiday accommodation is ideally located on the edge of Galway City. You can enjoy a 30-40 minute walk into Eyre Square or drive there in 10 minutes. A 10-minute drive also brings you to the seaside village of Salthill and the Wild Atlantic Way, while the university accommodation is also perfectly positioned to explore the nearby countryside of Connemara.

5. Accessible Accommodation

Accessible holiday accommodation isn’t always easy to come by, but the holiday accommodation at University of Galway offers accessible rooms and apartments at the new Dunlin Village.

You can book either an entire, fully accessible apartment or an accessible room only, within a shared apartment. It is not only the rooms and apartments that are accessible, you will find accessible parking and reception area too, as well as a step-free route throughout the village and braille for operating the lift buttons.

6. Single Rooms from €99, Double Rooms from €110

Single rooms are like hens teeth at any time of year, but finding a good value single room during the peak summer months was considered almost impossible – but not anymore! Although University of Galway accommodation consists of apartments, guests have the convenient option of booking a bedroom only within an apartment shared with others, from as little as €99 per night for a single room, or €110 for a double room.
