The uncertainty over foreign travel has meant more people are planning staycations than ever before. While there seems to be plenty of availability in hotel rooms, self catering apartments or hotels with kitchenettes are not that easy to find. I have had many messages from people who are looking for self catering breaks in Ireland for July and August, so hopefully one of these great deals will suit you.
I have priced these self catering breaks in Ireland for three-night stays, but dates and durations can be changed to suit your requirements, simply click on the links below and edit the search dates accordingly. Please note that some facilities may not be available, so I recommend booking a room with free cancellation incase there are any changes to facilities that may not suit you. 1. Treacys Hotel Wexford, 2 bedroom Apartment: 10th & 17th August, €660

3. Carrick Plaza Suites, Carrick On Shannon, Leitrim, 2 bedroom apartment: July & August €597, 3 bedroom €897
Located in the heart of Carrick-On-Shannon, these modern apartments two-bedroomed apartments sleep up to six, and three-bedroomed apartments sleep up to eight. Both boast panoramic views over the River Shannon. Take a cruise along the river, enjoy Lough Key Forest Park or simply enjoy the location in the heart of this vibrant town.See July here
4. Connacht Hotel Galway, 1 bedroom apartment: 18th July €557
The Connacht Hotel has been recently refurbished and boasts a large leisure centre, kids club and lots of family-friendly dining options. We stayed here many years ago and enjoyed its location close to Galway city.
Price shown is based on travelling on the 18th of July for three nights, but other durations are available. 2 bedroom family suites are also available for families of five, these cost €659 on the same date. 5. Staycity Aparthotel, Dublin Castle, 2-bedroom Apartment: July & August €621
A new edition to the capital, this aparthotel offers the benefits of apartment living, with the comforts of a hotel stay, in the heart of Dublin. Rated number 1 on Tripadvisor, this is a great place to stay in Dublin, with all the city highlights right on your doorstep. This apartment is available on many dates throughout July and August and two bedroom apartments sleep up to four.
6. Montenotte Hotel, Cork, 2 bedroom Apartment: July €750, August €850
I have heard so many great things about the Montenotte Hotel, which has been recently refurbished and and offers stunning views of Cork city. With a state of the art leisure centre, an in-house cinema and this cosy outdoor terrace, it is one of the most popular places to stay in Cork.
There are various room types available but this price is based on a 2 bedroom apartment that sleeps up to four. Various dates are available in July and August. 7. Atlantic Bundoran, Donegal, 3 bedroom apartment: 17th August €732
Located in the centre of Bundoran, close to Blue Flag sandy beaches, these apartments are hight sought after. These three-bedroom apartments sleep up to eight, and offer leisure facilities including an indoor pool, and a garden with an adventure playground, crazy golf, and a bar with live entertainment. Availability is limited so you will need to act fast to secure a booking.
8. Bella Vista Hotel, Cork: 3 bedroom apartment (sleeps 10) 27th July, €1329

9. Clayton Hotel Sligo, 1 bedroom family Suite with kitchenette: July €537, August €557
Set on beautiful grounds overlooking Benbulben Mountain, yet within walking distance of Sligo Town centre, the 4-star Clayton Sligo ticks all boxes for a family holiday in Ireland. The leisure centre has a separate kids pool, there is plenty of entertainment to keep the kids happy throughout the day, and two bedroom suites are available for larger families. 10 Hotel Killarney, Family suite with kitchenette: July & August €567
As well as being located in one of Ireland’s prettiest towns, the Hotel Killarney boasts a leisure centre, kids club and lots of outdoor activities. These large family suites sleep up to five and come with a kitchenette and dining area. There is limited availability throughout July and August, so early booking is advisable.See more here
