The Bonnington Hotel boasts a swimming pool, fitness and leisure club, as well as the popular McGettigans bar and restaurant. It is located just 3km from Dublin city centre, and within walking distance of Drumcondra village.

We had the pleasure of dining at the Hilton’s Broyage Bar & Bistro recently after a visit to Kilmainham Gaol. This four-star hotel also boasts a hydrotherapy pool, gym, sauna, and steam room. It is located opposite Kilmainham Gaol and the Irish Modern Museum of Art (check restrictions re opening), and it also a short walk away from the Irish National War Memorial Gardens – one of Dublin’s hidden gems.

The Camden Court Hotel is located in one of Dublin’s most popular locations. Enjoy a ramble around St. Stephens’s Green, shop the sales on Grafton Street, and return to the hotel for a family swim.

There are some gorgeous walks along Dun Laoghaire Promenade and Pier, just what you need after a Christmas binge! Who knows you might get tempted to swim in the 40ft?
