There is nothing like the buzz in the Capital around Christmas time. Christmas lunches and catch-ups with friends are something I always look forward to during the festive season, and with these great value Dublin hotel deals, I’m thinking an overnight stay might be on the cards this year! Whether you enjoy a meal in the hotel restaurant, or dine elsewhere, there is no doubt a Full Irish Breakfast will be greatly appreciated the next morning!

We had the pleasure of dining at the Hilton’s Broyage Bar & Bistro last year after a visit to Kilmainham Gaol. This four-star hotel also boasts a hydrotherapy pool, gym, sauna, and steam room. It is located opposite Kilmainham Gaol and the Irish Modern Museum of Art, and it also a short walk away from the Irish National War Memorial Gardens – one of Dublin’s hidden gems.

I recall spending many a night in the Burlington Hotel. The annual Irish Travel Trade Awards are hosted there every year – it brings back great memories! I can think of nothing better than checking in for the night and enjoying a nice meal in the Sussex restaurant, or light bites in the lobby lounge.
