Whether you want self-catering in Greece, or a water park holiday in Spain, TUI have family holidays to suit everyone. However, where they really stand out from the crowd is their wide range of exclusive holiday collections. Famous for their ground-breaking Holiday Villages and SplashWorld resorts, they also offer 24-hour all-inclusive resorts, and luxurious Sensatori Resorts with swim-up rooms and sophisticated dining options. I have outlined some of TUI’s exclusive collections below, so you can easily find the right holiday to suit you.
I love that all TUI holidays include flights, accommodation, transfers and checked baggage, and that you only need a deposit to secure a booking. So, if, like most of us, you over-spent during the festive season, there is no need to worry – a deposit of €75 will secure your booking now, with the balance payable ten weeks before departure.
Holiday Villages:
Holiday Villages are the ultimate, all-inclusive family resorts. TUI have eight action-packed resorts to choose from this summer, each offering clubs for from babies to teens and ’round-the-clock’ entertainment, including high rope courses and inflatable pool slides.
Does your child love football? Sign them up to the Football Academy where they will be coached by FA or UEFA-qualified coaches – a two-day course costs just £33. Children aged three and over can take swimming lessons, and wannabe popstars can join the Stage Academy, with workshops run by a top UK entertainment company.
TUI Blue for Families:
Formerly known as TUI Family Life, TUI Blue hotels have various options for families, adults or a combination of both. TUI Blue for families offer baby clubs, teen hangouts, fitness classes and evening entertainment. Rooms are spacious with air-conditioning, black-out curtains and fridges as standard.
I love their emphasis on healthy dining too. As well as buffets with big sharing plates, each hotel has a restaurant where you can enjoy local dishes, such as tapas or meze. If you don’t have adventurous eaters, don’t worry – TUI Blue family hotels also have separate children’s buffets and baby feeding stations. Dishes are labelled with a selection of meals for children with food allergies. With over 40 different TUI Blue properties to choose from, TUI are bound to have one to suit you.
SplashWorld Holidays:
I’m guessing if you asked your children to name one thing they love about summer holidays, they will say the swimming pool. Don’t get me wrong, kids’ clubs and organised entertainment are great too, but most kids want to be in the water the whole time. TUI’s SplashWorld or waterpark holidays guarantee lots of pool time, and are the perfect choice for a family holiday.
When you book a SplashWorld holiday you will enjoy the advantages of an all-inclusive resort with all meals and drinks included in the price, as well as having free access to a waterpark throughout your stay. Some of the resorts have waterparks on site, others are close by, some have lazy rivers and family rafting, while others have kamikaze slides and wild rapids. Sensatori Holidays:
TUI is renowned for offering great value package holidays, but this doesn’t mean you have to compromise on style! TUI has a wide selection of luxury hotels and resorts to suit all tastes. TUI have five all-inclusive Sensatori Resorts with an emphasis on sweeping pools, spas and sophisticated dining, as well as Platinum hotels and apartments, that are hand-picked for their outstanding feedback from guests.
Sensatori resorts offer family suites as well as swim-up rooms, they even offer private pools at some resorts. Daily activities include yoga, pool pilates and archery, as well children’s entertainment including kids clubs and the Play House, where children can enjoy the Crazy Kitchen and Silly Science Lab. Some resorts have waterslides and tipping buckets too. We know that travel broadens the mind, so why not try some language or culinary sessions? If you just want to relax, you can enjoy some quiet time in their luxury spas or chill-out at one of the adult-only swimming pools.
You can expect sophisticated dining options at Sensatori Resorts. Dishes change daily at the buffet, with cooking stations and a separate children’s buffet as standard. If you prefer waiter service, each resort has at least three à la carte restaurants in the all-inclusive offering.
TUI Magic Life Holidays:
TUI Magic Life holidays take all-inclusive holidays to another level – you can enjoy drinks and snacks 24 hours a day if you wish. They have a lively atmosphere with a wide range of entertainment options, including professional shows, live bands, karaoke and DJ sessions, as well as beach parties and open-air film screenings. You will also find a top sports programme, including tennis, football, mountain biking, fitness classes and even nordic walking.
All TUI Magic Life properties are located beside a beach so you can expect lots of water sports too, including sailing, wakeboarding and banana-boat rides. Most TUI Magic Life holidays have at last three speciality restaurants, plus a healthy corner at the buffet. Note that kids clubs are only available for children aged 3-12.
