Don’t get me wrong, kid’s clubs and organised entertainment are great too, but most kids want to be in the water the whole time. That is why I have put together a comprehensive list for you featuring 26 of the best waterpark holidays in Europe.

1. Portugal: Aquashow Park Hotel, B&B or Half Board
When it comes to family friendly hotels with a waterpark in Europe, the Aquashow Water Park Hotel has a lot to offer including it’s outdoor kids pool with two mini-slides, games rooms, playground and restaurant. However, without question, it is the free entrance to the water park that is the main feature for your stay here.
Aquashow waterpark is not only one of the Algarve’s largest water parks, but it also boasts the largest Water Roller coaster in Europe and Portugal’s largest wave pool. Little ones are not left out either – the Aquakids section is specifically tailored to young children. There is a huge selection of slides, attractions and shows to choose from that will suit everyone in the family.
Family hotel rooms are interconnecting rooms with four beds. This hotel can be booked as B&B or Half Board, whatever you prefer.
2. Corfu: Sidari Water Park Hotel, Half Board

This top-class hotel ticks all boxes for children of all ages. There is a BabyClub that caters from newborns to 36 months for two hours per day, as well as evening sessions to ensure you have the best holiday with a baby.
One of the big draws is that all guests enjoy free access to the waterpark next door with fast slides and a pirate-themed play zone with fountains.

The waterpark has a space bowl, tube slides, body slides, a multilane number and a kamikaze slide – all are suitable for children 120cm and over.
Younger children have their own spray park and mini slides in a pirate-themed areas. The hotel is situated close to glitzy Puerto Banus, Marbella and offers a shuttle bus service 2-3 times per day into the centre. It is officially rated 5-star, although I would probably rate it 4-star, but its beachfront location and onsite waterpark probably deserve the 5-star status! There are six restaurants, nine bars, an amphitheatre for live shows, as well as a host of activities available, including windsurfing and bowling. The lively resort of Kusadasi is just 15 minutes taxi ride away.
