I’ve hand-picked some of my top cruise deals from Ireland this year to help you plan your next cruise holiday.
Why visit one destination when you can visit several? Cruise holidays offer you the opportunity to see multiple cities or countries on one trip, and you only need to pack and unpack once! They offer great value for money with meals and entertainment included in the cost, and there is a wide selection of cruise deals from Ireland to suit all tastes and budgets.

1. Celebrity Beyond: 9 Night All Inclusive Med Cruise, 27th August, €1929pp

I had the pleasure of cruising on Celebrity Beyond recently and it was my best cruise experience to date. I loved its stylish decor, spacious outdoor areas and superb dining options. It is modern luxury cruising at its best, and although 5-star, its relaxed atmosphere means it is not at all pretentious.

Instead of one main dining room, Celebrity Beyond has four themed restaurants that feel more like restaurants than a large dining hall. 75% of the menus are the same but 25% are exclusive dishes based on the venue – Italian, French, American etc. This gives the feeling you are dining in a speciality restaurant, but you don’t have to pay for the privilege.
Celebrity Cruises ‘always included’ pricing means that drinks, WiFi and tips are included on all cruises. This makes Celebrity cruises good value for money when you consider the standard and service you receive.
This super cruise deal cruises from Barcelona and visits Marseille, Nice, Santa Margherita, Florence / Pisa, Sicily, Naples and Rome. Price of €1929 includes flights, checked baggage, meals and drinks, wifi and gratuities.
2. Norwegian Epic: 7 Night All Inclusive Mediterranean Cruise, 4th September, €1364pp
Cruise the Med on the award-winning Norwegian Epic. Voted Europe’s leading cruise line for 13 years in a row, Norwegian’s Freestyle all-inclusive cruises offer great value and a relaxed informal atmosphere. I had the pleasure of cruising on Norwegian Encore – you can read my review here:
This Mediterranean cruise sails from Barcelona and visits Corsica, Rome, the Amalfi Coast, Florence, Cannes and Majorca, before returning to Barcelona for your return flight home.
This cruise deal includes flights, checked baggage, all meals, a premium drinks package, WiFi, shore excursion credit and a speciality dining package – all for just €1364!
3. Royal Caribbean’s Wonder of the Seas 7-Night Family Cruise, 3rd July, €6399
The biggest ship in the world was launched this year and is Royal Caribbean’s 5th Oasis Class ship – it can carry 6,988 guests plus 2300 crew. This is the ultimate family cruise ship. As well as waterparks, a zip line, the longest slide at sea, surf simulators, rock climbing walls, mini-golf course, and Dreamworks character appearances, there are kids clubs for children aged from 6 months.
There is also a massive hang-out suite for teens with gaming consoles and movies, and there is a late night party zone with organised events until 2 am.
There are 9 complimentary and 12 speciality dining restaurants, as well as 12 bars and lounges across the ship. There are 8 different neighbourhoods on board including Central Park with 20,000 plants!
Wonder of the Seas sails from Barcelona this summer and visits Palma, Marseille, Florence / Pisa, Rome and Naples before returning to Barcelona for your flight home. Packages available from Dublin and Belfast.
Seven night fly cruises are available from €1599 ex Dublin which include flights, checked baggage, meals and entertainment. Family cruises are available from €6399 on the 3rd of July, based on 2 adults and 2 children sharing an ocean view balcony cabin with flights from Belfast.
4. MS Arena: Christmas Markets River Cruise, Flights, Hotel Stay & 4-Night Cruise, €739pp
While mega cruise ships get most of the media attention, river cruising is one of the fastest growing sectors within the cruise industry. They are a great introduction to cruising and ideal for people who may not want to cruise on crowded ships – river cruise ships carry an average of 150 passengers.
Some of the advantages to river cruising over ocean cruising is that you have a different view each day. When you dock in a city, you can walk into the town centre without need for coaches or excursions. They tend to attract an older clientele, although shorter itineraries such as Christmas market cruises can attract a younger age group.
I cruised on MS Arena overnight from Amsterdam, and while basic compared to 4-star ocean cruises, I found the food and service very good. It is a great way to try cruising without breaking the bank.
I found a great offer for a Christmas markets cruise which includes an overnight stay in Cologne. Price for flights, hotel stay and a four night cruise with all meals included on the 1st, 5th or 9th of December is €739 per person.
5. Princess Cruises: California Coastal 7-Night Cruise & 3-Night Stay, 28th September, €1779pp
Enjoy a three-night stay in San Francisco before boarding Ruby Princess for a California coast cruise, visiting Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, San Diego and Ensenada before returning to San Francisco for your return flight home.
This super deal includes direct flights with Aer Lingus, a three-night hotel stay in San Francisco and a seven-night cruise with meals and entertainment included. You can add on Princess Plus, which includes drinks, gratuities and WiFi for just €35 per person per day.
6. MSC Seaview: 7-Night All Inclusive Med Cruise, June – October from €1179

I cruised on MSC Seaview a few years ago and loved its bright modern design and variety of outdoor spaces. This offers superb value for anyone looking to cruise the Med this year. MSC Seaview sets sail from Barcelona and visits Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Messina and Valletta, before returning to Barcelona for your return flight home.
Prices start at €1179 and includes flights, checked baggage, transfers, meals, premium drinks package and gratuities. Price is based on October but if you contact Click&Go via the link below they will give you prices for alternative dates.
I hope my cruise deals from Ireland will help you plan a cruise holiday soon. Prices are correct at the time of issue but are subject to change. Want to know what cruise ship is best for you? Check out all my cruise reviews or read my latest post:
