This week’s Best Travel Deals from Ireland include a summer holiday deal to Rhodes, October in Croatia, winter breaks in Rome, Iceland and New York, Halloween break in PortAventura, a Caribbean cruise and stay, and staycations for adults and families.

Best last minute deal: 1 week holiday to Rhodes, €468pp

Who said there are no cheap holiday deals in August? Not only is Rhodes one of the largest Greek islands, but it has a UNESCO world heritage site as its capital. As well as a stunning old town, there are so many great places to explore in Rhodes, including Lindos – pictured above.
 

 
This deal includes a seven-night stay in the adult-only Nimar Villagio apartments. These are the perfect choice if you are looking for a quiet relaxing resort with a beach nearby. They are located about 15 minutes walk from the village of Afandou and the apartments have a pool and snack bar on-site.

Best city break deal: Rome 

Rome is always a great choice for a city break and with airfares from €69 return in November, maybe its time to think about a cheeky winter break. I found a great deal in the 4-star Condotti Palace Hotel, which is superbly located in the heart of the city, right beside the main shopping area and the Spanish Steps. 

 
I have chosen a morning flight out from Dublin and an evening flight back to make the most of this short break, but dates and durations can be changed to suit your requirements – simply edit the search dates via the links below.
