I’ve searched the web so you don’t have to! My best travel deals from Ireland include last minute holidays, short breaks, early booking offers, cruise deals, and super staycations.

This week’s Best Travel Deals from Ireland include winter breaks in Madeira and Andorra, St Brigid’s weekend in Washington, 2024 holidays in Sani Resort, Lanzarote or a Princess Cruise, the best girls night away 🍸 and a luxury family break in Wicklow.

Best last minute: Madeira

The tropical island of Madeira is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and food lovers. Visit the vibrant capital of Funchal, swim in one of the island’s natural pools, or enjoy Madeira’s fabulous hiking trails and breathtaking scenery. 

I found return flights from Dublin for just €88 on the 20th of November. A seven-night stay in the centrally located Hotel Madeira is just €394 including breakfast, or choose the top-rated Se Boutique Hotel for €545 per person.

Best overnight escape: Clayton Limerick Hotel

Best City Break: Washington

I’m just back from a short break in Washington and would highly recommend a visit. There is so much to see and do, it is a pleasure to explore, and flight and hotel prices are reasonably priced compared other American cities.

I found return flights with Aer Lingus for €319 over St Brigid’s weekend and a three-night stay in the centrally located 4-Star State Plaza Hotel is just €205 per person, making the total cost €524 based on two sharing!

Best winter holiday: Andorra

Book a skip trip to Andorra over St Patrick’s weekend. Topflight is offering one week package holidays from just €659 including flights, hotel on a half board basis, return airport transfers and checked baggage.

Choose the 4-star Hotel Magic Pas in the lively resort of Pas de la Casa, or the Hotel Palarine in the quieter resort of Arinsal. If you really want to ski in style, I can highly recommend the 5-star Park Piolets & Spa, priced at €1148 for a seven-night holiday including flights, meals, transfers and baggage.

Best family holiday: Lanzarote

Secure a Free Child Place next Summer in one of Ireland’s favourite holiday destinations – Lanzarote. The 4-star Las Costas Hotel is rated as Excellent on TripAdvisor and receives glowing reviews from guests due to its beachfront location and super service.

Considering its high rating it offers surprisingly good value for a family stay in July. The price for flights, transfers, checked baggage and a seven-night stay with breakfast and evening meal included, is just €3049, based on a family of fou – this includes a limited Free Child Place. And that’s not all – a deposit of €75 per person secures your booking.

Best family staycation: Druids Glen Resort

Treat yourself and the family to a five-star stay at Druid’s Glen Hotel and Golf Resort for St Brigid’s weekend. This luxury hotel is popular choice for families due it’s child friendly facilities, including the swimming pool, playground and games room.

Price for a two-night weekend stay arriving on Friday or Saturday of the bank holiday weekend is €495 based on a family of four.

Best Cruise: Princess Med Cruise

Black Friday has started early with some great offers from Princess Cruises. Cruise the Med next Summer on the brand new Sun Princess from just €1175 per person including flights, transfers and checked baggage. Add on Princess Plus, which includes a drinks package and gratuities for an additional €406.

Cruise from Barcelona to Rome and visit Genoa and La Spezia ( gateways to the Cinque Terre and Portofino) as well as Marseille and Gibraltar – this is a similar itinerary to the one I cruised on Sky Princess.

Best early booking offer: Sani Resort

Flights are now on sale to Thessaloniki for next summer, and there are some great deals to Sani Resort if you can travel in April, when the resort re opens.

Price for flights and a seven-night stay in Sani Beach Hotel, with breakfast and dinner included, is €808 per person based on 2 sharing. A family holiday over the May bank holiday is €4168, based on two adults and two children.
