Did you know how accesible it is to stay in a glass igloo? With the introduction of Ryanair’s direct flight to Rovaneimi, there has never been a better time to scratch one off the bucket list! A big thanks to a follower, who told me about this fabulous resort just 11km from the airport.

You can enjoy husky safaris, snowmobiling, as well as igloo saunas! Featuring a heated glass roof, the Aurora cabin allows you to watch the sky directly from the bed. It comes with a private bathroom, electric fireplace and a sofa. Wouldn’t this be the ultimate Christmas present? 🎁

Fly from Dublin to Rovaneimi on the 12th of January and enjoy a three-night stay in a Aurora Cabin in Apukka Resort for €759 per person. Want to bring the kids? Price for flights and a three-night stay for a family of four is €2052 in January or €2,495 over February mid term break.

Are you planning a trip to Orlando next year? Well if so, now is the time to book. Disney is offering dining and merchandising credit if you stay in a Disney Hotel, so staying on-site may not be as expensive as you may think.

I found flights with United Airlines via Newark for next summer for €633 per person including checked baggage and seat selection – (base fare is only €482 per person). You can clear immigration in Ireland before you leave, which saves you valuable time when you arrive in Orlando.

I have linked to Skyscanner below. I recommend booking directly on United’s website or via Irish travel agency e-travel who are linked via Skyscanner.

Disney’s All Star Resorts are €2010 for a ten-night family stay, and you will receive $360 Disney Dining credit and a further $100 Disney spending money if you add park tickets at the time of booking. Deposit of €100 secures a booking.

It is important to be aware of the latest travel restrictions of the country you are travelling to. Boosters or pre-departure tests are required for travel to some countries in Europe if initial vaccination is over 270 days. Please check the latest travel restrictions on the DFA website before you travel.
