1. Best Last Minute: 4* Week in Tuscany from €389pp!
Tired of all this rain? Yeah, us too! Why not jet off on a last minute break to Tuscany. Airfares are terrific value to Pisa, from only €62 return from Dublin or Cork, and hotel prices are reasonable too! I stayed in the pretty town of Montecatini many years ago and it is ideally located to explore the nearby town of Lucca and the cities of Florence and Siena.
There is a train service from Pisa airport, or you can pre-book transfers, but I recommend car hire if you want to explore Tuscany fully.

The Inishowen Peninsula is one of my favourite places in Ireland, and the Ballyliffin Hotel is perfectly located to explore it. Make sure to seek out Kinnagoe Bay and Mamore Gap, two of Ireland’s true hidden gems and spend some time exploring Malin Head. You could also combine this break with a trip to Derry city, it is only a 35 minute drive from the hotel.

I visited Bratislava back in 2023 and really enjoyed it. While it is quite compact, that makes it perfect for a two day city break. It is also very affordable, especially with flights at this price, making it an ideal weekend getaway.
