In this week’s best travel deals I have last minute holidays to Italy and Ibiza, family deals to Salou and Westport for Halloween break, winter breaks in Cyprus, Lisbon and Kilkenny, an amazing early booking offer to Thailand and a Norwegian Fjords cruise.
 

 

Best last minute: Lido di Jesolo Resort, Venice from €492pp

When it comes to luxury overnight escapes that won’t break the bank, its hard to beat the 5-Star Mount Juliet Hotel. They key to getting the best value is to stay on Sundays and to book early! Price for an overnight stay with breakfast is €95 per person on the 22nd of October, €90pp on the 5th of November or €87pp on the 10th of December. 
 

 
If you are thinking of Christmas gifts already 🎁 – why not book a stay for 2024? Price is only €81 per person on the 7th of January or €77 per person on the 18th of February.

Best short break: Ibiza from €262pp

Chase the sun and book a short break to Ibiza next month. Flights are great value in October, with prices from €104 per person on the 15th of October or €168 on the 18th of October for three nights. There is availability over the October bank holiday weekend too, prices are €148 for five nights from the 26th of October.
 

 
Choose the adult-only AxelBeach Ibiza Suites Apartments Spa and Beach Club if you want to be close to the clubs in San Antonio, or a sea view room with breakfast at the adult-only Sol Beach House, if you fancy a more relaxing stay.

Both are rated Excellent on TripAdvisor with great reviews from previous guests – I’m tempted to book this myself!

Aer Lingus seat sale has up to 30% off flights to Europe from 1st October to 13th March. I found return weekend flights to Lisbon from €81 including 10kg checked baggage on the 18th of November for three nights.

Best winter break: Cyprus from €254pp

Combine relaxing beach walks with some history and culture thrown in, by spending a week in Cyprus this winter. I found great value flights from Dublin to Paphos for just €88 on the 26th of November.
