10 Dream Holidays to the Indian Ocean – All Inclusive Resorts from €1699 Inc Flights
Beach villas in the Maldives, all inclusive resorts in Mauritius, and luxury hotels in Seychelles or Sri Lanka – check out my top holidays to the Indian Ocean for your next getaway.
When you think about dream holidays, the Indian Ocean is at the top of most bucket lists. From barefoot luxury in the Maldives, to celebrity hangouts in the Seychelles – paradise islands don’t come much better than this. However, it may surprise you to learn that holidays to the Indian ocean offer much more than romance and relaxation.
I still brag about climbing Sigiriya – the 200 metre-high rock in Sri Lanka, and as for the Maldives – swimming with whale sharks is one of the scariest things I have ever done! You can also trek through the jungle in Mauritius and hike the Copolia Trail in the Seychelles!

The lush green interior provides some championship golf courses and and the mix of Asian and African cultures help to provide some mouthwatering creole cuisine. However, you might think that all of these resorts come with a hefty price tag – but not so! I’ve picked two great value all inclusive resorts in the Maldives below, with meals, drinks and speed boat transfers included.
